I began teaching in Troup in 1997.  I was a Literacy Specialist at Region VII Head Start for a year.  I have taught Pre-K, Kindergarten, multi-age Pre-K/K, and second grade.  I love teaching children to read and write.  I have been in my current position as Reading Coach since 2005.  I work with teachers to facilitate the implementation of our core reading program and sound instructional strategies.  I also help target children who need reading intervention.   Troup Elementary is a great place to learn!

My philosophy of education is simple:

Value children. Teach them well. Watch them grow and achieve.
