I graduated from UT Tyler in 1997. My first teaching job was in Jacksonville ISD teaching second grade Sheltered English. In August 2006 I came to Troup to teach second grade for one year then moved to fill a need to teach ESL and Dyslexia students. I also complete all testing for new ESL students to our district and Dyslexia testing. In my class we work on reading skills, vocabulary, writing and social interactions for ESL students. In August I will begin a new adventure in my teaching career. I will be teaching Kindergarten. I look forward to teaching it child to reach their potential and strive to do the best they can. Also, strive to give each student the knowledge they need to be successful each year.  It all starts with Kindergarten.
