Growing up the daughter of a Southern Baptist minister, I moved around a lot.  I was born in Longview, Texas but attended school in Kilgore, LaPorte and finally graduated from McAllen High School in McAllen, Texas.   I went to college at Pan American University then finished up at UT Tyler.  I am a member of the Delta Zeta Sorority and Kappa Delta Pi.  I believe that every student is a unique individual that is deserving of a secure, caring and learning atmosphere to guide them to their fullest potential.  As an educator, I will provide this environment to develop them academically as well as other areas of their life.
