I have been teaching at Troup since 1995. I have taught in Troup in a Content Mastery Room, 4th Grade, 1st Grade, and now I’m teaching in the Computer Lab. I love working with computers and teaching students things that have to do with technology and computers.
I have taught Computers for several years now. I teach all the students in Kindergarten through 5th grade. I am excited at how much the students have learned so far through the years, and look forward to see how much they continue to learn.

I love reading fantasy books that include magic, such as the Harry Potter series.
Every classroom presents a unique opportunity to provide the best environment for students to learn. My role as a teacher is to give children the tools with which to work productively in today’s society and in the future. To accomplish this goal, I will teach so that all learners can feel capable and successful. I will present curriculum that teaches the skills necessary and involves the interests of the children which makes learning relevant to their lives. I will incorporate hands-on learning as well as use teaching opportunities to make children active learners. I will emphasize the learning to be linked to the world community to help children become caring and productive members of society.
